Insulated concrete foam blocks are filled with concrete. The thickness of the concrete varies from eight to ten inches depending on the height of the structure. R-values for ICF's vary depending on the manufacturer. Generally the R-values are approximately 24. Concrete has no related R-value, however, the mass or thickness should slow heat exchange.
